The new Solar PV Guide and MCS Solar PV standard MIS 3002 have been released. The release was confirmed by Greg Barker at Solar Power UK and according to Greg Barker, it’s release is expected to “improve the reliability of installations, increase customer confidence in PV and help us all benefit from quality focussed engineering solutions”.

Some of the key changes in the new Solar PV Guide and Solar PV standard include;

• Solar PV Performance calculations
• Installation requirements including structural issues
• Competency requirements update
