Renewable open day a success for UK’s leading MCS specialists

Britain’s most advanced renewable training centre officially launched on 17 June 2011. The launch also acted as an open day for those who visited the centre and truly showcased Trade Skills 4U’s dedication to training. The centre provides candidates with purpose built facilities to train domestic installers and electricians in real and relevant scenarios to prepare for the renewable revolution.
Event sponsor Easy MCS launched their MCS Accreditation Seminars at the event with 2 presentations to the attending installers, all about MCS Accreditation, the benefits and how best to achieve it.
Pete Roberts, Easy MCS gives MCS Seminar to new installers
Head MCS Mentor Pete Roberts ran the Seminars, which will be the first in the organisations new nationwide MCS Seminar service. Speaking after the first seminar Pete Roberts commented “The response to our first MCS Seminar was far higher than expected, feedback from those who attended was 100% positive and all the installers found it informative and concise. We will be continuing to run the seminars across the UK in the coming months and would encourage any installers looking into MCS to drop in to find out what it’s all about. For those who are already aware of MCS and are ready to start the MCS Accreditation process, our mentoring teams are working on a daily basis with electricians, plumbers, engineers and builders of all types and sizes from 1 man bands to 1000 employees and provide an unrivalled support service with a 100% pass rate.”
Thomas Farquhar, Easy MCS, discuss MCS & The Microgeneration Industry with Henry Smith MP
Throughout the day there were talks from head of Trade Skills 4 U Carl Bennett, Local MP Henry Smith and Falkland’s war hero Simon Weston OBE. The day was a huge success and installers attending were able to see live demonstrations of both Solar PV and Solar Thermal installations.
Commenting at the event, Easy MCS Sales Manager Thomas Farquhar said “Trade Skills 4 U are one of the leading training providers in the UK and have facilities that are second to none. We are pleased to be able to assist their candidates in achieving MCS Certification in a pain free manner and will continue to recommend their courses to our installers. We have decided to start offering a range of MCS Awareness seminars across the UK to increase understanding of MCS and to provide new installers with an understanding of the ever developing renewable industry.”
