Renewable Heat Incentive to launch before Easter
Greg Barker, Energy & Climate Change minister has confirmed on Twitter that the Renewable Heat Incentive is due to launch before Easter which is the 18th April.
Greg Barker made the announcement on Tuesday 18th March on the social networking site Twitter. The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) provides financial incentive for consumers who install renewable heat technologies including Heat Pumps, Biomass and Solar Thermal. The RHI had been due to commence in Spring 2014 but this announcement gives further confirmation that the scheme is commencing imminently and soon after the end of the Renewable Heat Premium Payments.
