New MCS Standards & Competency Criteria come into force
On 16th March 2014 the new MCS Competency Criteria came into force along with updates to the range of MCS Standards for Heat Technologies.
These changes have been implemented in preparation for the Renewable Heat Incentive which is due to launch in early Spring. The changes affect all MCS standards with majjor changes to the standards covering the installation of Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal and Solar PV.
The new MCS Competency Criteria has also now come into force which covers all MCS Technologies and gives clarity to installers looking to prove competency as part of their journey to MCS Certification.
